Council Tax Receipt shows what a London council tax bill pays for, from figures the councils, the Mayor of London and GOV.UK publish. It is run by Utforska Data. We use no cookies and store nothing on your device.

What we record

When you press "Work it out", switch between per year and per month, or press a band on an embedded receipt, we record the choice: the council, the band, whether you live alone, year or month, and whether it happened on this site or on another site's embedded receipt (then that site's address). We record no name, no account and no internet address with it. We use these counts to learn which councils and bands people look at.

When you write to us

The contact and embed key forms send us your name, email address, message and the page you wrote from. We keep them so we can reply, and we keep a scrambled form of your internet address for an hour to stop spam.

Hosting

Netlify serves this site and keeps short-lived server logs, as any web host does.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, through the contact form on any council page.
